The new site continues to take shape. In the past week the Simple Request System was re-added, as were the Last 500 Tracks Played, and Artists In The Queue. I plan to add a new arcade system and a new member registration system this week. There is a bug with the current registration system where anyone who had an existing username/password from the old site/forums cannot change their password using the Profile menu item (which was also added this week). A new member who registered for the first time on the new site can change their password with no issues. This is being looked at by the vendor. In the event the bug cannot be tracked down, I do have another registration system that I can add in. This would have no affect on any exisiting registrations - it is all on the backend. It also offers some added registration SPAM-BOT protection as it also adds CAPTCHA to the registration process. I will keep everyone updated if there is a change. We've Moved! - Well, not exactly. Our mailing address has changed. The Flashback Alternatives 'suite' (actually a Box at the local UPS Store) is coming up for renewal, so in order to save some money for the station, we have switched to a local USPS PO Box. There really isn't going to be much difference - I still have 24x7 access, and the box is actually a bit larger, so CD's can fit inside. The only downside is that I can no longer receive any UPS, FedEx, DHL, etc. packages to the address. Everything has to be sent USPS (or via your countries Postal System). The new address is below: Edward FishmanFlashback AlternativesPO Box 4270 Middletown, NJ 07748 Speaking about money - listener contributions are pretty much at an all time low. We really need for things to pick up in order for the station to survive. Just a $2 contribution each month from each listener is all it takes! For now, you can use the ChipIn box on the front page (which is a front end to PayPal) or you can send your contribution via snail mail to the address listed above. I plan to add the Amazon Honor System box to the front page this week, as well as bring back the full contribution option page some time this week or next. Lastly, the current Front Page poll asks how people like the new site. While most like it, there are a few who say they hate it. I'd appreciate any feedback as to why you hate it (or why you like it). Please send any feedback or comments to
